The ECS GeForce GT 240 512MB graphics card is not large, but it does have a powerful cooling solution that was designed by Arctic Cooling. In fact, this cooler on the ECS Elitegroup graphics card is the Accelero L2 heatsink with a 120mm fan, which is far superior to NVIDIA's reference cooler for the GT215. This cooler does not actively cool the Samsung GDDR5 memory ICs, but they should operate fine nevertheless.

The Arctic Cooling Accelero L2 heatsink attaches to the PCB on the opposite side of the graphics card by four mounting screws. No external PCI-E 6/8-pin power connectors are needed as its maximum power consumption is just 69 Watts. NVIDIA recommends that customers of the GeForce GT 240 have at least a 300 Watt power supply, which certainly should not be much of a problem these days even in low-profile media systems.

Providing the video connection support for the ECS GeForce GT 240 (NGT240-512QI-F) are VGA, dual-link DVI, and HDMI connectors.
