With the TSCP chess benchmark, Clang maintains a small lead that has widened by a bit with Clang 6 that is currently in development.
Clang still trails GCC in some OpenMP multi-threaded benchmarks.
In many of our common scientific benchmarks, the current GCC and Clang C/C++ code compilers yield binaries that perform neck-and-neck.
