Intel's own SVT-AV1 encoder runs very well on AMD 7002 series processors, as we have shown in past benchmarking comparisons....

The performance-per-Watt was quite compelling with the flagship EPYC 7742 at 2.82x the EPYC 7601 or even for similar core count parts the EPYC 7502 was at 2x the perf-per-Watt of the EPYC 7551 Naples processor.

Likewise, the VP9 video encode performance with the Scalable Video Technology VP9 encoder showed the huge generational improvement from Naples to Rome.
