Another Intel software package where the Xeon Gold 6250 outperformed the EPYC 7F32 to little surprise was in the OSPray ray-tracing performance.

As well as with the Embree ray-tracing kernels where AVX-512 could be exploited.

While with Intel's popular SVT-AV1 encoder, the Xeon Gold 6250 pulled a slight lead over the EPYC 7F32 processors.

The AMD EPYC Rome CPUs continue to perform very good with the dav1d AV1 video decoder.
