Next up is a look at the performance-per-dollar for these benchmarks based on the current Internet retail pricing that could be found otherwise the list prices were used as a fallback.

To little surprise, the EPYC 7282 in both 1P/2P configurations led most of the benchmarks.

The EPYC 7F72 near universally offered better value at its $2450 USD list price compared to a single Xeon Gold 6258R costing ~$4042 per unit.

The Xeon Gold 6258R obviously offers much better value than the similarly-speced Xeon Platinum 8280 that costs more than twice as much.
