Generally the newer the Linux code the better for the open-source graphics drivers, especially for Intel and AMD Radeon hardware.
The GpuTest performance was a huge leap forward when installing Fedora 19 updates but whatever was changed by that isn't present in Fedora 20 Beta at this time.
