The AOBench renderer saw very sizable performance improvements on the two Skylake systems under GCC 8.1.

The Skylake and Zen systems were seeing some faster physics performance with Bullet when built under GCC 8.1.

While with FLAC audio encoding, the GCC 8.1 generated binary was faster on Skylake.

Or in the case of LAME MP3 encoding, both Skylake and Zen benefited from GCC 8.1 over GCC 7.3.
