Benchmarking LLVM & Clang Against GCC 4.5
The LLVM-GCC GraphicsMagick binary was running better than one built off GCC 4.5.0, but with Clang its performance was far behind LLVM-GCC and the three newest GCC release streams. Clang was about 18% slower than GCC 4.5 where as LLVM-GCC was 8% faster than with that GCC release.
The Clang-conceived binary of GraphicsMagick continued to struggle greatly against those produced by GCC.
