For the HP Dev One focused on developer workloads, if frequently compiling code from your laptop, the Ryzen 7 PRO 5850U still performed very well and for large code-bases outperformed the i7-1280P even with that SoC having four extra threads.

For creator workloads like Intel's OSPRay Studio software, the Ryzen 7 PRO 5850U just squeaked by the i7-1280P.

...but with the Ryzen 7 PRO 5850U pulling significantly less power than the i7-1280P.
