With the Blender 3D modelling software the Core i5 14500 with 14 cores / 20 threads narrowly edged out the Ryzen 5 8600G with its 6 cores / 12 threads.
👁 OpenVKL benchmark with settings of Benchmark: vklBenchmarkCPU ISPC. Core i5 14500 was the fastest.
In various other multi-threaded creator workloads -- including various Intel open-source software packages -- the Ryzen 5 8500G was typically well ahead of the Core i3 14100 while it was a tighter battle between the Ryzen 5 8600G and the Core i5 14500.
Many different creator real-world workloads were tested.
