Intel's benchmarks shown were mostly focused on showing how the Arc A370M is much faster than Intel Iris Xe integrated graphics. Their benchmarks to no surprise were under Windows while it will be interesting to see the Linux performance and how well Intel Arc Graphics can run games with Steam Play and the like.

And equally or even more relevant to the Linux crowd will be how well Intel Arc Graphics can perform for GPU compute and other workloads.

Intel's been making great open-source software under their oneAPI umbrella while admittedly so far I haven't seen too many open-source projects begin making use of these components for leveraging GPUs/XPUs and the like. Hopefully the open-source software support around oneAPI components will flourish as more Intel discrete graphics hardware becomes available.

OpenVINO and in the areas of AI is one of the areas where their open-source code has been taking off very well already.

Intel also presented "Arc Control" as their new driver software control interface. For now at least Arc Control is limited to Windows and no word on any Linux plans. An Intel Linux graphics driver control panel remains something sought after by many Intel Linux users.

That's the initial overview for Intel Arch Mobile Graphics. For now there isn't much more to add until getting our hands on Intel Arc Graphics hopefully in the near future to begin evaluating the Linux driver support and performance.
