The Intel Arc Graphics were also running well for the modern FluidX3D OpenCL software. The GeForce RTX 4060 OpenCL performance continued to be subpar compared to the RTX 30 series.

The Intel Arc Graphics proved to be surprisingly in decent shape for their OpenCL compute performance this round after immense work by their software engineers this year from optimizing their kernel driver to bringing the Compute Runtime into good shape for DG2/Alchemist. The raw performance was competitive, the power efficiency tended to be comparable to the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 30 series, and where the Intel Arc Graphics really shined was on maximizing value. Plus with Intel Arc Graphics is the benefit for Linux users of a fully open-source driver stack.
