With the Stargate digital audio workstation software, the Core Ultra 5 245K was performing very well with similar performance to the Ryzen 9 7900X. Or on a performance-per-Watt basis was in first place.

With the Blender 3D modeling software, the Core Ultra 5 245K was performing just short of the Ryzen 9 7900 and several seconds faster than the prior Core i5 14600K. For this demanding multi-threaded benchmark, the Core Ultra 5 245K was consuming around 116 Watts on average, similar to the Ryzen 9 7900X3D.

With the proprietary V-RAY renderer, the Core Ultra 5 245K was just shy of the Ryzen 9 5950X level of performance and similar to the Ryzen 7000 series for power efficiency.

For the IndigoBench renderer, the Core Ultra 5 245K performance was similar to the Core i5 14600K.

For renderers like OSPRay able to leverage AVX-512, the AMD Ryzen processors were delivering much stronger performance and in turn better power efficiency.
