Across the variety of different open-source codebases tested, the Core Ultra 7 270K Plus was delivering comparable build time performance to the Core Ultra 9 285K Plus and typically right behind the Ryzen 9 9950X/9950X3D and similar or slightly behind on the performance-per-Watt. Where the Core Ultra 7 270K Plus was leading in the code compilation workloads was typically delivering the best value for developers.
Or for those running source-based Linux distributions and doing a lot of code compilation, the Core Ultra Series 2 desktop CPUs deliver nice value too.
