For smaller HPC mini apps and workloads less sensitive to memory bandwidth, the MRDIMM gains were less impactful but still measurable.

Stressing HPCG on the dual Intel Xeon 6 server with MRDIMMs was very exciting. Similar to Intel's reported MRDIMM benefits, running HPCG with MRDIMM 8800 memory yielded 33% better performance than DDR5-6400!

There were some pretty nice gains out of the MRDIMM-equipped server in NPB.
