Intel P-State vs. CPUFreq Benchmarks On The i7-5960X

The performance governors of CPUFreq and P-State were the fastest and against each other ran around the same speed for Counter-Strike: Source. With this Source Engine game, the performance governor led to a 18% improvement in frame-rate over the powersave mode.
For Unigine Tropics the CPU governor made no difference as to the performance.
The Xonotic results were similar to CS: Source. The performance governor was 30% faster than the ondemand governor of ACPI CPUFreq.
