Like seen with Haswell, the Core i7 3770K did see a big speed-up with Crocus in some of the test scenarios for the ParaView workstation visualization software.

Crocus on Ivy Bridge still has room to improve for Java OpenGL performance.

Like the results seen on the Core i7 4770K Haswell desktop, the Ivy Bridge support and performance was overall in good shape for Ivy Bridge. There still is room for catching up to i965 in some of the tests but overall was healthy competition between the drivers, no glaring issues encountered with Crocus, and overall not a bad offering for improving the open-source Gallium3D outlook for these nearly decade old processors.
