For delivering a playable experience with great visuals at 1440p in Rise of the Tomb Raider under Linux, a GTX 1080 series or RX Vega is really needed.
Dawn of War 3 at 1440p is also doing much better on Vega relative to the GTX 1080 series than what we were seeing at 1080p with the RADV Vulkan driver against the NVIDIA 396 series code. At 1440p with high quality settings, the RX 580 comes in at just under the 60 FPS average mark.
It's great value still being provided by the Radeon RX 580.
