For the OpenJDK Java benchmarks, Intel's Clear Linux tended to lead.
Clear Linux also exhibited a distinct advantage with the JPEG XL image encoding benchmarks, possibly due to its combination of the P-State performance governor and aggressive CFLAGS/CXXFLAGS by default.
Similarly, Clear Linux was performing great for WebP image encoding too.
