Like with the Intel Core i9 system with different hardware, this AMD system too was seeing lower PostgreSQL performance out of Linux 5.0. Rather, noticeably lower performance in the database read/write tests.

The Redis performance was mixed.

The synthetic kernel stress-ng benchmarks were also mixed.

The Apache HTTPD performance benchmarked with 250 clients concurrently via Siege was trending slower, the lowest level since Linux 4.19. The rest of the data was either flat or mixed.
