The FluidX3D computational fluid dynamics software with OpenCL has shown some very nice improvements made by Nouveau/NVK compared to where it was at on Ubuntu 25.10. But compared to the NVIDIA official Linux driver, Nouveau/NVK still has a long ways to go for being competitive with the performance.
The clpeak OpenCL benchmarks show how far NVK/Nouveau has come the past several months for the latest NVIDIA Blackwell GPU support but still far off from matching the NVIDIA R590 performance.
