When it came to the Mozilla Firefox performance on each Linux distribution, Clear Linux continued leading the way but Debian and openSUSE did have some strong finishes too.

The final benchmark was the BRL-CAD solid modeling software where Clear Linux narrowly edged past Ubuntu 19.04.

Lastly is a look at the geometric mean across all of the tests carried out on all seven tested Linux distribution setups from this Core i9 7980XE workstation. Clear Linux 30450 led the way and had a 6% advantage in the selected tests over the second fastest performer, Debian 10. The Ubuntu and openSUSE releases tested were close to each other in their performance while Fedora Workstation 30 came out the slowest of the seven tested out-of-the-box Linux operating systems in this round of benchmarks. Similar tests with the Ryzen 3000 series processors on different Linux distributions is up next on Phoronix.
