The 7-Zip compression performance is up marginally in the Linux 3.2 kernel for the Intel Core i7 3960X system.

The loopback TCP network performance has gotten better recently within the Linux kernel.

With the other tests that were carried out, there were not any other interesting numbers, but you can find them on OpenBenchmarking.org (https://openbenchmarking.org/result/1201066-BY-LINUX32KE16) or facilitate your own comparison using this open-source automated benchmarking software.
