Intel Xe2 Lunar Lake Graphics Performance Disappoints On Linux

Here's the CPU power consumption across the duration of all the graphics benchmarks. On average the Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 was pulling around 14 Watts while the Core Ultra 7 256V was around 12.4 Watts, a big improvement over the 28 Watt average with the Core Ultra 7 155H.

The AMD RDNA3.5 graphics with the Ryzen AI 300 "Strix Point" laptop was much more attractive: full open-source driver support still but with much better performance. Even the RDNA3.5 graphics on launch-day didn't have any performance problems like what I'm seeing with Lunar Lake. Hopefully the Lunar Lake Xe2 graphics performance can be better optimized on Linux in the near-term. Even running with the Linux Git and Mesa Git code didn't provide any immediate benefits to the OpenGL and Vulkan performance.

Comparing the Windows 11 vs. Ubuntu Linux performance on this ASUS Zenbook S 14 with Intel Core Ultra 256V reinforced there are Linux driver problems at hand.
