Surprisingly macOS 12.1 did lead over the Linux distributions when it came to the LuxCoreRender performance.
The race was close when running Intel's OSPray portable ray-tracing engine across the tested operating systems.
Similar performance was also seen with the Intel Embree performance on macOS and Linux.
