In most of the benchmarks carried out, Mesa 18.0 was performing about the same speed or just a frame or two higher than Mesa 17.3.
Mad Max with Vulkan did see a few small performance improvements with the ANV driver on Mesa 18.0, but still not enough to consider it playable on this hardware even at 1280 x 1024.
