AMD Strix Halo Radeon 8060S Enjoys Improved Ray-Tracing With Mesa 25.2

For Vulkan compute performance with the vkpeak benchmark, there wasn't much change except for the fp16-vec4 and int16-vec4 performance. Both the fp16-vec4 and int16-vec4 performance improved quite nicely with the Mesa 25.2 RADV driver state.

Aside from those INT16 and FP16 VEC4 performance improvements, the only other notable AMD Strix Halo results to point out for Mesa 25.2 are around Vulkan ray-tracing. Nice gains with Vulkan ray-tracing for the Radeon 8060S Graphics on Mesa 25.2 but not as significant as the optimizations made for the Radeon RX 9000 (RDNA 4) graphics with this upcoming release.

Aside from ray-tracing performance, Mesa 25.2 is bring Vulkan Video API improvements for Radeon graphics, various new Vulkan API extensions, and other refinements to enhance the open-source driver support for Strix Halo and other AMD Radeon graphics hardware. Look for Mesa 25.2 stable to be out around mid-August.
