The i7-720QM has a 2.8GHz turbo frequency for this 45 Watt TDP processor! The Core i7 4558U in comparison is dual-core plus Hyper Threading, 3.3GHz turbo, and a 28 Watt TDP.
The Core i7 Haswell laptop was multiple times faster than the Core i5 520M from five years ago.
