While the performance goes up a lot when re-clocked to the highest performance state, the Nouveau driver on older Kepler and GM107 hardware still comes up well short of the NVIDIA proprietary driver.
The Dota 2 Nouveau results were particularly poor.
In some benchmarks, the GTX 780 Ti appears more competitive on Nouveau against the NVIDIA binary driver than the GTX 750 Ti.
