Besides the slower OpenGL performance, the open-source Nouveau driver doesn't yet have full OpenCL/CUDA compute support and numerous other features found within the first-rate NVIDIA binary blob.

Well, that's the results and aren't too surprising compared to previous Nouveau vs. NVIDIA Linux tests done on Phoronix. Coming up next will be the latest open-source vs. closed-source AMD Radeon benchmarks, which are much more competitive.
