The Founder's Edition GeForce GTX 1080 Ti has seen some cooling improvements since the GTX 1080. Various AIBs will be launching their own GeForce GTX 1080 Ti models soon.

The GeForce GTX 1080 Ti continues to support SLI. Unfortunately, I haven't had any duplicate cards now in over a decade for SLI testing, but the emerging Vulkan multi-device support should make multi-GPU graphics on Linux more interesting in the future.
