Now we're onto the OpenCL and CUDA GPU compute performance.
With the LuxMark OpenCL benchmark there was a 73% performance improvement over the GTX 1060. When going from the GTX 960 to GTX 1060 was just a 53% increase in performance.
With the power efficiency there was a greater improvement going from Maxwell to Pascal, but even with the Turing card is another 28% improvement in performance-per-Watt.
The PlaidML deep learning framework also saw significant improvements in performance over each of the past four generations of NVIDIA consumer GPUs.
