As I'm a performance benchmark junkie and for those that like reminiscing over old hardware, I also ran some comparison tests of the Jetson TX1 compared to the CompuLab Trim-Slice. The Trim-Slice had a dual-core Cortex-A9 1.0GHz Tegra 2 SoC with 1GB of RAM and a rotating HDD.
It's incredible to look at how the performance of ARM hardware has evolved over just the past few years. The Tegra 2 was released just five years ago and in some tests is approaching ten times faster!
