The FluidX3D computational fluid dynamics software using OpenCL showed the official NVIDIA OpenCL driver still being multiple times faster.
Still hurting the Rusticl performance is much higher OpenCL kernel latency compared to the NVIDIA OpenCL driver or other OpenCL drivers like the Intel Compute Runtime.
There are some areas where the open-source NVIDIA driver stack with Rusticl is quite competitive for OpenCL against NVIDIA's official driver and other areas less so.
