NVIDIA 190.16 Driver Brings OpenGL 3.2 To Linux

The most significant gain with the NVIDIA 190.16 beta driver was found with the Unigine Sanctuary test. With the 180.51 and 185.18.14 drivers from NVIDIA, the average frame-rate was 22 FPS, but that reached 25 FPS under the NVIDIA 190.16 beta driver.
While there was a boost using this newest NVIDIA driver with Unigine Sanctuary, when running Unigine Tropics there was no performance gain to be found.
The GtkPerf had improved some using the NVIDIA 190.16 driver. With the GtkComboBox widget, its performance was marginally better.
