NVIDIA Anti-Aliasing Benchmark Comparison

Overall, the new FXAA (Fast Approximate Anti-Aliasing) mode isn't too demanding. However, this is meant as a complementary feature to multi-sample anti-aliasing and not an outright replacement. The most demanding anti-aliasing test cases were those involving super-sampling. Fortunately, the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680 is fast enough to cope with even 16x and 32x AA while delivering suitable frame-rates on Linux.

When using 4x super-sampling with 4x multi-sampling, the OpenArena frame-rate was at a third of where it performed without any anti-aliasing.
