OCZ Solid 2 SSD
Beginning with the SQLIte test, the OCZ Agility EX did the best but that was to no surprise given its high-end status. THe OCZ Solid 2 series though did run at about the same speed as the OCZ Agility 128GB SSD.
With PostgreSQL the Solid 2 64GB SSD was about 30% faster than the OCZ Agility 128GB, but still was no competition for the OCZ Agility EX.
With the 8GB read performance via IOzone, the OCZ Solid 2 was actually the fastest with a read speed of just over 200MB/s compared to 173MB/s for the OCZ Agility EX and 159MB/s for the Agility.
With one Dbench client the Agility EX returned to performing on top while the Solid 2 was still faster than the larger Agility SSD -- this time by 26%.
