There is not much else to show in the other usual compute-focused benchmarks.

GCC 4.6 does take slightly longer to build software than GCC 4.5 due to additional optimizations, etc. In addition, there is the aforementioned EXT4 file-system slowdown under openSUSE 12.1 that also influences the build speeds.

OpenSUSE 12.1 will be available for download within a few hours at openSUSE.org.
