Solaris 11 Express also missed this Core i7-3960X system when it came to running the FFTE benchmark. CentOS 6.2, the community spin of Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.2, was the winner.
The Dhrystone 2 test in BYTE also marked another loss for Solaris 11 Express.
The SciMark results varied, but overall the Linux distributions were performing the best.
