Xonotic on Ubuntu 14.10 exhibited much greater performance than OS X Yosemite with the Intel graphics.
As the visual settings were increased for Xonotic, Ubuntu 14.10 with Linux 3.16 + Mesa 10.3 still managed to command a measurable lead over OS X 10.10.
