Raptor Talos II POWER9 Benchmarks Against AMD Threadripper & Intel Core i9

Compiling LLVM was much faster on the Talos II than Threadripper 2990WX. The compilation results are better for some projects that don't have a lengthy linking process.
The Talos II power consumption during this task was about a 400 Watt average.
The C-Ray ray-tracing performance of the Talos II was in line with the AMD Ryzen Threadripper 2990WX.
The POV-Ray ray-tracing performance of the Talos II was also in line with the Threadripper 2 processors. More compiler/software optimizations will likely come moving forward so that will be interesting to benchmark. Anyhow, while costly, the performance of this fully libre hardware is certainly fascinating.
