POWER9 wasn't too far behind x86_64 for Node.js with the Octane benchmark.
The AOBench performance could likely benefit from continued POWER9 optimizations as we have seen this particular code-base benefit quite a lot from compiler tuning.
Audio encoding is one of the real-world workloads where POWER9 could really see some improvements.
Likewise, the Mencoder performance also was a ways behind Intel/AMD x86_64 likely due to missing out on some hand-tuned Assembly code.
POWER9 also lost in the eSpeak speech synthesizer test.
