With the OpenGL 4.1-using Metro 2033 Redux game, the R600g performance on the HD 6950 was 70% the speed of the closed-source driver.
With the similar Metro Last Light Redux game, the HD 6950 on the latest open-source Radeon driver was also at 70% the speed of Catalyst.
When running the popular Team Fortress 2 game, the HD 6870 and HD 6950 on Linux 4.4 + Mesa 10.2-devel + DRI3 were both running around 77~78% the speed of Catalyst.
