Thrones of Britannia as a native game port by Feral Interactive did have some leads in favor of AMDVLK and PRO drivers on these Radeon RX 6000 series graphics cards.
As mentioned in the prior article, Total War: Three Kingdoms is performing poorly on the PRO driver stack as the game is currently applying an (expensive) driver workaround targeting that driver. AMD hopes the workaround will be removed by the game soon and there is a workaround for those interested. Given the strong AMDVLK performance, the PRO driver should be able to compete with RADV in this title once that workaround is removed.
