Raspberry Pi 5 16GB Running Well For Larger Workloads, More Multi-Tasking
The Raspberry Pi 5 16GB is capable of running more workloads like OpenFOAM CFD and some AI inferencing benchmarks where the Raspberry Pi 5 8GB simply could not due to the 8GB of RAM / 2GB per core. Beyond opening up new workloads that previously would just fail to run with less RAM, the performance is improved for some workloads with the Raspberry Pi 5 16GB thanks to less memory pressure / swapping and also the D0 stepping of the SoC potentially having some small contributions to the performance.
