Raspberry Pi 500 Delivers Great Performance, Convenient Upgrade To The Raspberry Pi 400
Whatever workload you want to toss on the Raspberry Pi 500, it's a heck of a lot faster than the previous generation Raspberry Pi 400.
The four Cortex-A76 cores on the Raspberry Pi 500 were successfully sticking to the 2.4GHz rated clock frequency compared to the 1.8GHz clock frequency with the Cortex-A72 cores on the Raspberry Pi 400. Plus twice the RAM was also of big benefit for the code compilation build times.
The passive cooling with the Raspberry Pi 500 worked out fine and was able to withstand multi-threaded workloads going on for hours without becoming too hot.
The Raspberry Pi 500 performance is a very nice boost over the Raspberry Pi 400.
