In various other OpenCL workloads, the performance results were equally impressive compared to the previous generation Maxwell and Pascal cards.
In SHOC, the maximum single-precision FLOPS achieved on the RTX 2080 SUPER was 10% higher than the RTX 2080, 27% higher than the GTX 1080, and 137% higher than the GTX 980.
The performance-per-Watt during the peak FLOPS calculation was a 14% improvement between the RTX 2080 and RTX 2080 SUPER.
The FFT SP results were also showing the steady evolution of Maxwell through Turing.
