AMD Ryzen Z1 Extreme: Windows vs. Linux CPU Performance
The Ryzen Z1 Extreme SoC with Zen 4 cores having AVX-512 and all the other architectural improvements makes it a quite capable SoC along with the RDNA3 graphics capabilities. It will be interesting to see where else the Ryzen Z1 ends up. With Linux not giving any fuss around the Z1, it's good news if the Z1 appears in any embedded/industrial type applications.
Linux was in good shape on the Ryzen Z1 Extreme with all the testing thus far. Though in regards to the ASUS ROG Ally as a device there are considerations around the audio, WiFi, etc.
