Blender 3.0 performs consistently better on Linux than Windows, just not with the Ryzen 7 PRO but with nearly all systems I have tried.
With the proprietary Indigo and V_RAY renderers they also performed better on Linux.
The Appleseed open-source PBR renderer performed similarly on Linux and Windows from this Lenovo ThinkPad.
