Right out of the gate with the WireGuard test given the importance of VPN and secure Internet connectivity especially among mobile devices, the Ryzen 9 5900HX easily dominated thanks to its Zen 3 CPU cores and 8c/16t configuration obviously being far superior to the other laptops available for our Linux testing.
For AV1 encoding with the performant Intel SVT-AV1, the Ryzen 9 5900HX obviously shows off very well.
And in other creator workloads...
The Ryzen 9 5900HX laptop could compile the Godot game engine in a little over two minutes.
Or it can compile the Linux 5.10 LTS kernel in less than a minute and a half.
Or the open-source Mesa 3D driver stack in less than one minute.
